The Racial Pro-File blog dissects the racism behind Adam Carolla's ching chong joke. Brief mention is made of CBS defending Carolla. Finally, at the end of the post, there's a funny example of how to deal with a ching chong. The kind of apology that Carolla used was similar to the one by Rosie O'Donnell after she was criticized for her ching chong. Basically it was the common line of "I'm sorry you were offended but it was unintended." According to this post, even after the apology, Carolla mocked an Asian American activist on his show.
